Each year BLSPI awards several summer fellowships to Brooklyn Law Students working in various public interest law fields. These fellowship awards allow student to work at unpaid public interest or non-judicial government organizations.

Jan. 30, 2009 The 2009 BLSPI Fellowship Chair, Haeya Yim 09, announced the selection of 20 new fellowship recipients. They are:

These students bring diverse backgrounds, experiences, and goals to the community of public interest students and lawyers, Yim said. We are very excited to see how they will use their BLSPI-funded summer internships to continue to contribute to public interest law.
