Direct Deposit

Policy

All payments or credits posted to the student's account are applied first toward any balance due for tuition and then housing. If the total amount of loans and aid exceeds the amount of the balance on the student's tuition and housing accounts, the surplus funds will be refunded to the student. It is important to note, however, that refunds are based on the funds that have actually been received and applied to the student's account. Credit balances will not be refunded any earlier than the first week of classes.

Direct Deposit

All students are encouraged to sign up for Direct Deposit. This is the quickest and most efficient way to receive your refund. The Direct Deposit process is run three times a week and will allow the Law School to deposit funds directly into your checking or savings account. It takes up to 4 weeks to activate a Direct Deposit account.

If you have not signed up for Direct Deposit, your refund will be processed as a check and mailed to your AR Address (if none is on file then to your Preferred Mailing Address). Refund checks are processed once a week and cannot be picked up.

To sign up for Direct Deposit, either download the Direct Deposit enrollment form* or visit Student Accounts to pick up a form. Please remember to submit a voided check or bank deposit slip with your form.
