Wallance will read from and discuss his new book, Two Men Before the Storm: Arba Crane's Recollection of Dred Scott and the Supreme Court Case that Started The Civil War. The book is about the Supreme Court's most catastrophic decision ever, denying a slave his freedom, with important lessons for our times.  read more
