1:00 - 2:00 pm
250 Joralemon Street
Interested in family law, children’s rights, or domestic violence issues? Come hear an experienced practitioner speak about the relationship between these topics.
Jill Zuccardy, an expert on representing battered women who are under investigation for child abuse and neglect, will speak about her work. Ms. Zuccardy was co-counsel in Nicholson, a case in which a federal district court found that it was a violation of due process for New York to remove children from the homes of mothers simply because they had been "exposed" to domestic violence directed at their mothers.
This event is sponsored by the student organization LAW (Legal Association for Woman). For more information, please contact their co-chair Alexandra Puleo.
