About the Program
This program, whose panelists include the editor and authors of Fashion Law: A Guide for Designers, Fashion Executives, and Attorneys (Fairchild 2010), the first book on fashion law, is geared towards practitioners representing clients in the fashion industry. It is meant to provide a fundamental understanding of the needs of clients in the fashion industry.
The program is divided into four segments, each exploring an essential component of the fashion industry:
- Intellectual Property Issues and Licensing
- Import and Customs Issues in Fashion
- International Development in the Fashion Business
- Counterfeiting

Cost
The program is free for those who do not want CLE credit. All attendees, however, must RSVP.
$20 ($10 per CLE credit) for Brooklyn Law School graduates who hold a 2010-2011 BLS Alumni Association Membership Card. If you would like to join, please call 718-780-7966.
$100 ($50 per CLE credit) for all others.
