Professor Sara Robbins, 1952-2006

Professor Robbins whose recent death the Law School community mourns, was the Law School's Librarian. Prior to joining the faculty, she held librarian positions at Yale Law School Library and Cardozo School of Law Library. She was also a Visiting Professor at Pratt Institute Graduate School of Information and Library Science. She frequently lectured on copyright issues and law library administration, was active in the American Association of Law Libraries, and was a member of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Libraries. She had been a member of several ABA Site Inspection teams. She was the author of Law: A Treasury of Art and Literature (1990) and the compiler and editor of The Baby M Case: The Complete Trial Transcript (1988), as well as several bibliographies and book reviews. Professor Robbins joined the faculty in 1985.
