Karmel, Centennial Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Center for the Study of International Business Law, delivered a paper at an International Monetary Fund seminar on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 in Washington, D.C. Her paper, “Achieving Financial Stability Through Disclosure,” was presented at a seminar for bank counsels on “Current Developments in Monetary and Financial Law: Law and Financial Stability.” Two days later, she delivered an address on the U.S. perspective at a conference, “EU Financial Services Regulation: Completing the Internal Market” at Queen Mary University of London.
