Planning Your Academic Program for Next Year
Each Spring, the Law School holds two Panel Discussions on Academic Counseling in order to enable students, especially first-year students, to begin thinking about courses they might want to take next academic year. The Panel Discussions involve presentations by various members of the faculty on course selection issues and then a question-and-answer session.
The Panel Discussions will be held in the Student Lounge on April 1.
The first session will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
The second session will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The Panel participants will be:
Professor Claire Kelly
Professor Jayne Ressler
Suzanne Dennis, Registrar
Moderators: Associate Dean Lawrence Solan and Associate Dean Beryl Jones-Woodin
In thinking about planning your program and course selection, you should consult the law school's Web site, particularly the materials on the curriculum and the Student Guide to the Upper Class Curriculum. That Guide, prepared by the faculty, contains suggestions about different strategies for choosing courses. The Guide is available on the Web site, and hard copies of the Guide will be available at various places in the law school. The Web site also includes complete information on all courses and faculty members.
All students are welcome to attend these sessions.
