BLS Community Celebrates Feil Hall Dedication
On Thursday, September 29, 2005, over 450 students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the school gathered for a dedication ceremony celebrating the official opening of Feil Hall, the Law School’s magnificent new high-rise residence hall.
After a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests enjoyed food and drink at “Geraldo’s”, the student café on the ground floor of Feil Hall, toured apartments, and took in the stunning views from the Forchelli Conference Center on the 22nd floor. Stuart Subotnick, Chairman of the Brooklyn Law School Board of Trustees, Dean Joan G. Wexler, architect and Dean of Yale School of Architecture Robert A.M. Stern, and SBA President Jodi Siegel spoke to those gathered about the importance of this new landmark to the Law School, its students, and the community.
