This database providing busieness researchers with information on companies, markets and industries. CALI
Computer Assisted Legal Research exercises can be downloaded from the CALI web site provided you obtain the password from your instructor or one of the Law Librarians at the school. You can also complete the exercises in any of the computer labs.
CCH Health and Human Resources
The CCH Health and Human Resources collection of databases offers searchable access to primary and secondary materials concerning health issues in the workplace. HHR has eight separate folders to organize your research: Human Resources Management, Payroll, Pension/Benefits, Employment Law, Safety/OSHA Workers Comp., Health Law, Food and Drug, and Interactive Forms. This database requires a password which can be obtained from a Librarian at the Reference Desk in the BLS Library lobby area.
CCH Internet Tax Research Network
CCH Internet Tax Research Network is a full-feature Federal and State tax law research network. This database collection provides access to secondary resources and commentary in addition to statutory, regulatory and other administrative materials related to taxation. If you use this service from a workstation physically present in Brooklyn Law School you do not need a password.
Congressional Universe
Congressional Universe is a service that indexes federal and state legislative history material. The federal material is indexed from 1789 to the present and is bifurcated by date. Please choose the correct data range for your research (1789 to 1969, or 1970 to the present). State Universe indexes legislative information from the fifty states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Constitutions of the Countries of the World
This database features the full text of the constitutions of more than 190 nations translated into English. First Search
First Search provides access to many subject specific databases on a wide variety of topics. These topics range from business periodicals to medical articles. If you are working off campus, you must obtain an authorization code and user name from a reference librarian at Brooklyn Law School Library.
Foreign Law Guide
The Foreign Law Guide offers background of the development of more than 200 countries. It provides bibliographic information on English reprints of these laws and a subject arrangement for easy identification of relevant primary laws. Full Text Sources Online
FSO a directory of publications that are accessible online in full text, from 30 major aggregator products. It covers topics in science, technology, medicine, law, finance, business, industry, the popular press and more. FSO also lists the URLs of publications with Internet archives, noting whether access to them is free or not. FSO Online is updated weekly. You need to obtain a user name and password from a librarian in order to use this resource.

The Making of Modern Law Legal Treatises database contains 22,000 titles on US and British law published from 1800 through 1926. UN Access
UN Access provides international researchers access to UN material from 1998 to the present. UN Treaty Database
The United Nations posts its multilateral treaties on their web server. This publication contains the texts of over 40,000 bilateral and multilateral treaties in their authentic language(s), along with a translation into English and French, as appropriate. It is recommended that you install in your web browser the AlternaTIFF plug-in. You will be prompted to install this plug-in if it is needed to view any of your results. Virtual Classrooms at Brooklyn Law School

ArbitrationLaw Online is your complete up-to-the-minute resource for information and commentary on all facets of international commercial arbitration and dispute resolution. World Tax Laws
The World Tax Law database provides English translations of foreign laws related to business, commerce, investment, and taxation from more than 100 jurisdictions. The first time you use this database, you must register for access from a workstation at Brooklyn Law School. You will be assigned an ID that is good for the semester which can be used from any internet capable workstation.
