The Brooklyn Law School library holds one of the largest law collections in New York City. Our rich, multi-format holdings cover a broad scope of legal areas, and support research initiatives for our faculty and students. CUBE: Center for Urban Business Entrepreneurship

Brooklyn Law School’s new Center for Urban Business Entrepreneurship, or CUBE, will be the hub for exploring legal issues surrounding entrepreneurship, and for providing effective legal representation and support for new businesses — while also training the next generation of business lawyers.

Center for the Study of Business Law & Regulation

The Center for the Study of Business Law and Regulation unites the Law School’s existing diverse business and commercial law programs to provide a forum for scholarship that offers new perspectives on, and solutions to, real world business law and regulatory issues, and will facilitate exchanges between academic specialists and legal practitioners and judges.

Block Center for International Business Law

The Dennis J. Block Center for the Study of International Business Law’s mission is to study and shape international business law and policy, and it hosts a rich variety of programs to address issues of concern to the international, financial, and trading markets. Its premier fellowship program enriches the educational experience of students interested in careers in international business law.

Center for Health, Science & Public Policy

Building upon our faculty expertise and New York City’s world-class science and healthcare communities, the Center has forged a dynamic environment for outstanding legal education, policy innovation and scholarship. It provides students with the substantive knowledge and practical skills necessary to become excellent lawyers in these rapidly growing fields.

Center for Law, Language & Cognition

The Center for the Study of Law, Language and Cognition is devoted to exploring how developments in the cognitive sciences – including psychology, neuroscience and linguistics – have dramatic implications for the law at both theoretical and practical levels. The Center is the only one of its kind in the nation.

Law Journals

The Law School publishes four student-edited law journals: Brooklyn Law Review, Brooklyn Journal of International Law, Journal of Law and Policy, and the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law. These scholarly publications contribute to the intellectual backbone of the nation’s legal profession and are widely read by jurists, practitioners and scholars.

Symposia, Forums & Lectures

Throughout the academic year, the Law School hosts an extraordinary calendar of symposia, lectures, forums, and panel discussions sponsored by our centers of excellence, our fellowship programs, and our law journals. These programs draw distinguished speakers to the campus to engage in high-level discourse with faculty and students.

Trade Secrets Institute

The Trade Secrets Institute (TSI) is a new initiative of Brooklyn Law School designed to provide comprehensive neutral coverage of key trade secret cases and legislative or regulatory initiatives throughout the United States.
