| January-May | New York state residents complete applications for New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). Email link to the TAP application is sent to students by the Dept. of Education if they indicated they are New York State residents on their FAFSA. |
| April 30 | Deadline for submission of Brooklyn Law School Application
for Financial Aid for all admitted and continuing students. Students admitted after April 30 will have 30 days after acceptance to submit applications.

| April-May | June graduates with federal loans must complete mandatory Federal Exit Interviews online prior to graduation at www.mapping-your-future.org. |
| March-August | The Office of Financial Aid mails award letters to financial aid applicants. Award letters are also available online via Web Advisor. |
| May-July | Students may apply for a Graduate Plus Loan up to the cost of attendance (less other financial aid.). Apply are made online with the lender. Students e-sign a Promissory Note with the lender after the loan has been approved. |
| July-September | Students may appeal need-grant awards by completing an appeal form (available online or at the Office of Financial Aid) prior to October 1. The scholarship committee will not consider need-grant appeals made after October 1. |
| December | February graduates with federal loans must complete mandatory Federal Exit Interviews online prior to graduation at www.mapping-your-future.org. |
