Evan F. Barnes was promoted to special counsel in the Stamford, CT office of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. Barnes advises broker-dealers, traders, and investment advisers in connection with regulatory, securities enforcement, litigation and transactional matters. (9/9/2014)

Donald R. Boyce was appointed to the United States Senior Executive Service cadre as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to serve as Director of the Office of Emergency Management. Boyce oversees the federal government's primary planning and response arm for public health and medical emergency support. He previously served as the regional administrator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region 1 at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. (3/28/2014)

Marguerite S. Dougherty was appointed an Interim NYC Civil Court Judge and is sitting in the NYC Criminal Court, Kings County. She previously served as an Executive Director and Assistant General Counsel at JPMorgan Chase. She joined JPMorgan in August 2012 as its Vice President, Assistant General Counsel for Securities Litigation. Dougherty also worked as a Senior Litigation Associate at Jones Day. She is on the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Association and was a member of the Law School’s adjunct faculty, where she taught New York Civil Practice. (3/6/2015)

Leah S. Karlov became a partner in the Los Angeles, CA office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in the firm's Tax Group. Karlov's practice focuses on the tax-efficient structuring of domestic and cross-border transactions for investment funds and multinational corporations. (3/28/2014)

Adam Silvera, formerly with personal injury firm, Paul B. Weitz & Associates, was elected a judge of the NYC Civil Court in November 2013. (9/9/2014)

Janine C. Waldman (Guido), previously special counsel at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, joined GE Capital headquarters as Executive Counsel for Regulatory Affairs, where she advises on all aspects of U.S. banking laws and regulations and implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act. (11/7/2014)
