Miles M. Borden, previously with Troutman Sanders LLP, joined the New York office of Seyfarth Shaw LLP as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department. Wendy M. Derzaph, a deputy district attorney in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, was presented with the Prosecutor of the Year Award 2012 by the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud in December 2012. She was recognized for her work as lead prosecutor in dismantling a large complex international medical insurance fraud and money-laundering ring headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Derzaph was also recognized for this work by the International Association of Special Investigative Units (IASIU) in September 2012 with its 2012 International Public Service Award. Additionally, IASIU selected her as its 2012 Prosecutor of the Year in the Southern California region in July 2012. (2/4/2013)
