Richard G. Fromewick, a member of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. and chair of the firm's Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Practice, was re-elected to positions on the boards of the Barry and Florence Friedberg Jewish Community Center and Temple Avodah, in Oceanside, Long Island in June 2014.(9/9/2014)

Martin G. Karopkin was appointed by King Norodom Sihamoni as an international reserve judge to serve in the Trial Chamber of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), following the nomination by the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, and the approval by the Supreme Counsel of the Magistry. Karopkin most recently served as Deputy Commissioner of Trials for the New York City Police Department where he presided over disciplinary trials within the office. He previously served as a reserve justice of the Supreme Court of the ECCC of Cambodia from 2006 to 2008, and as an international judge with the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo. He also served as an acting New York State Supreme Court Justice. (10/16/2014)
