Jill Backer joined the Career Center in July, 2002 following five years in sales and marketing to the legal community. Ms. Backer received her J.D. from Quinnipiac University in 1995, and practiced criminal defense law in Chicago before deciding on a career in sales. Ms. Backer's position does not involve student or alumni counseling. Her work consists entirely of identifying new markets and opportunities, and meeting with employers.

Danielle joined the Career Center in June 2009, following three years with a legal search firm and previously practiced with a small litigation firm.  Ms. Sorken received her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.  Ms. Sorken's position does not involve student or alumni counseling. Her work consists entirely of identifying new markets and opportunities in the government sector and meeting with employers.
