Students at the annual BLSPI Auction, which raises money to fund summer public interest fellowships.
he Public Service Programs Office, located in the Career Center, is dedicated to exposing students to the world of public service, and to assisting those who seek public interest or government positions as a career, or while in law school. Elizabeth Kane, Director of the Public Service Programs Office, counsels and assists students individually in their efforts to identify and obtain public interest and government positions, and helps students to explore public interest issues and events. In addition, the Public Service Programs Office provides both a lunchtime series of speakers and workshops, and annual events supporting the public interest community. Ms. Kane also administers the Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Fellowship Program, and a pro bono program.
