This is a unique program that brings back graduates who have excelled in their field of work to meet with students in an intimate setting over lunch or dinner. Joseph Smolinsky '88
Partner, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP

Mr. Smolinsky is a partner in Weil's Business Finance and Restructuring Department. His practice focuses on providing restructuring advice and strategy to borrowers, lenders, investors and creditors. He regularly represents corporations seeking to reorganize under chapter 11, including General Motors in its historical chapter 11, UNOs Restaurants Corp., Harvard Industries, Inc., Jazztel plc, Magnesium Corporation of America, and Orion Pictures Corporation. Mr. Smolinsky also maintains a robust lender practice representing agents and lenders including Citigroup, Credit Suisse and a variety of other financial institutions. Read more about Mr. Smolinsky.

Michael Williams '93
General Counsel, Safe Horizon

Mr. Williams has been General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of the Board of Directors of Safe Horizon, the nation’s leading victim assistance organization, since 2007. As General Counsel, he represents the legal interests of Safe Horizon, including contractual, real estate, policy, litigation, regulatory, employment, not-for-profit governance, and tax-related matters. He also manages the organization’s relationships with outside counsel. Prior to joining Safe Horizon, Mr. Williams served as Deputy General Counsel of Phoenix House Foundation, a national nonprofit that provides substance abuse treatment services, and as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the New York City Law Department. Douglas Grover '75
Partner, Thompson Hine LLP

Mr. Grover focuses his practice on white-collar criminal matters and civil litigation. He represents individuals and businesses, including politicians, CEOs, attorneys, doctors, accountants, securities analysts and traders, investment bankers, and government agents in all types of matters including campaign finance violations, government corruption (including bribery and foreign corrupt practices), environmental crimes, tax crimes, antitrust crimes, securities violations, insider trading, and all forms of fraud. He was formerly senior special attorney and deputy chief of the U.S. Department of Justice, Organized Crime Strike Force for the Eastern District of New York. As a prosecutor, he convicted the heads of the Gambino and Columbo organized crime families, and he also successfully prosecuted a number of officials in the New York City Carpenters' union on charges of labor racketeering. Daniel Byrne '98
Vice President of Labor Relations, EmblemHealth Services

Mr. Byrne is Vice President of Labor Relations at EmblemHealth Services Company, LLC. He is responsible for planning and organizing labor relations activities on behalf of the company and negotiating all collective bargaining agreements with the various unions representing the company’s bargaining unit employees. EmblemHealth is the largest health insurer based in New York State serving nearly 3.4 million people with over 92,000 providers in 150,000 locations across the tri-state region. Stacey Levine '94
Associate General Counsel, Investigations, GE Healthcare

Ms. Levine is Associate General Counsel, Investigations at GE Healthcare. She runs the company’s major internal investigations and drives policies and procedures for the handling of all investigations across GEHC. She also works with the company’s Global Compliance team, as well as its Labor and Employment teams to drive compliance and, where appropriate, direct remediation programs. Ms. Levine was most recently an Assistant U.S. Attorney in New Jersey, where she worked on a variety of matters, including investigations and prosecution of healthcare fraud. William Kelly '77
Partner, Goldberg Segalla LLP

Mr. Kelly concentrates his practice on defending complex product liability and construction site litigation, as well as catastrophic damages cases. He is a former attorney of record for Transamerica Insurance and Royal Sun Alliance Insurance Companies. Mr. Kelly also lectures for the New York State Bar Association on construction site litigation and has been selected to act as a member of the faculty for the Judicial Institute, providing trial guidance for newly elected Supreme Court judges. Blair Todt '94
Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, WellCare Health Plans Inc.

Mr. Todt joined WellCare Health Plans Inc. as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer in April 2010. As Chief Compliance Officer, he is responsible for all Ethics, Privacy, Compliance, Regulatory, and Fraud, Waste and Abuse matters across the company.  Additionally, he is responsible for all internal investigations, and oversight of WellCare’s Medicare and Medicaid Sales operations. Prior to joining WellCare, Mr. Todt was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for health care provider MedCath Corporation.
