Jeremy M. Attie, previously a senior policy analyst for civil rights and workforce in the Office of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, was promoted to Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights. He develops and implements state-wide civil rights and workforce policy through legislation, regulation, and state operations. Aaron R. Gardner became counsel in the New York office of Kaye Scholer LLP in its Corporate Department. A member of the firm's Life Sciences Group, Gardner represents clients in a wide range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, corporate finance, joint ventures and strategic alliances. Adam B. Ginder was promoted to Chief Operation Officer at MNS, a leading residential brokerage, sales and marketing firm in New York. Ginder oversees the firm’s legal and regulatory matters and spearheads its strategic initiatives and growth. Ginder previously served as the company’s General Counsel, SVP. (11/7/2014)

Arik Hirschfeld joined Guggenheim Partners as its chief compliance officer for GS Gamma and director in compliance for Guggenheim Partners Investment Management. Hirschfeld previously served as a vice president at Barclays Capital and an associate at Sidley Austin LLP. (9/9/2014)

Jennifer R. Kasman, previously a partner at Friedlander Misler, launched JR Kasman, PLLC, her own real estate and business law firm in Washington, D.C. Kasman represents sophisticated entities, individuals, and entrepreneurs as lead counsel on real estate, finance, creditors' rights, and corporate transactions across the country. (9/9/2014)

Jared A. Kasschau, previously with Jaspan Schlesinger, joined the Uniondale, NY office of Harris Beach PLLC as a partner in the firm's Business and Commercial Litigation and Government Compliance and Investigations Practice Groups. Odelia Levy was appointed Executive Director of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management at the New York City Department of Education. Levy leads policy implementation and counsels the agency relating to EEO, diversity, and compliance with federal, state and local law.
