Charles A. Archer Jr. , CEO of the Evelyn Douglin Center for Serving People in Need, Inc. will be honored on June 28, 2012 at the 15th Annual “40 Under Forty” Achievement Awards Dinner, sponsored by The Network Journal, a New York tri-state magazine for Black professionals, corporate executives and small business owners. The Evelyn Douglin Center is a nonprofit social services organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for persons with mental and developmental disabilities and their families. (6/4/2012)

Dona J. Fraser was promoted to vice president in the Privacy Certified Department of the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB). ESRB is a non-profit, self regulatory body that assigns ratings for video games and apps. Fraser joined the company in August 2007 as director of the Privacy Online Department. (4/5/2013)

John N. Poulos, formerly an associate at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, co-founded his own litigation firm, Polous LoPiccolo. He concentrates his practice in the areas of class actions, commercial litigation, construction and real estate law, defective products, personal injury, and unsafe drugs. Poulos was also recently appointed as an arbitrator for the New Jersey Superior Court in Monmouth County. (8/13/2012)

David F. Rubin recently opened Elite Language Center, a boutique English school in Bratislava, Slovakia. He offers legal, business and financial English courses, translation, and proofreading to professionals in Bratislava. (8/13/2012)

Andrew J. Scholz became a partner in the White Plains, NY office of Goldberg Segalla. He focuses his practice in the areas of mass tort, toxic tort, environmental, products liability, transportation, and complex commercial litigation. Scholz is a co-chair of the Toxic Tort Subcommittee of the ABA’s Mass Torts Committee. (3/6/2013)

Aline Taireh was promoted to senior vice president and deputy general counsel at Westfield, LLC. In her new role, she manages the legal department and works on various transactions including joint ventures, acquisitions, and dispositions of real estate assets and large secured and unsecured financing transactions. Taireh joined the company in 2007 as senior counsel and was promoted to associate general counsel in 2008. (7/20/2012)
