Hanna Dershowitz joined the ACLU of Southern California as a Criminal Justice Drug Policy (CJDP) Reform Advocate. The CJDP is a new project whose goal is to reform California’s criminal justice system, reduce incarceration and criminalization, improve police accountability, and reform state drug policies and laws. Dershowitz recently served as co-chair of the Prop 19 Legal Committee. She also served as general counsel to Senator Rodney Ellis in the Texas Senate, where she helped pass landmark criminal law reforms. (7/20/2012)

Gloria R. Greco was named as the Compliance Executive for the Global Wealth & Investment Management division of Bank of America. In connection with this appointment, Greco was also named co-Chief Compliance Officer for Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, one of the world's largest broker/dealer and registered investment advisers servicing retail and institutional clients. Greco began her career with Merrill Lynch, and has been with the company more than 30 years, holding positions within legal, accounting, finance, purchasing, and technology. (11/13/2012)

Elissa D. Hecker, who maintains her own practice focusing on entertainment and business law in Irvington, NY, was named chair of the board of directors of Dance/NYC, whose mission is to bolster the support structure for dance in New York City, serving as a voice, guide, and infrastructure architect for all local artists and managers. Leonard M. Kohen, who maintains his own general commercial litigation practice in NY specializing in election law and also serves as of counsel to Kurzon LLP, co-authored an article, “Court Deference to State Legislatures in Redistricting after Perry v. Perez,” published in the Election Law Journal (Dec. 2012). (3/6/2013)

Louis Lombardi retired from the New York Police Department in 2009 at the rank of captain. Lombardi was on duty on 9/11 and he recently completed a memoir about his experience that day which can be found at http://obpopulus.wordpress.com/911-a-life-in-a-day/. He is currently living in State College, PA where he practices law and teaches at a local community college. He also writes for the local daily newspaper, The Centre Daily. (7/20/2012)

Sean R. O’Loughlin, president of Global Biomechanical Solutions, a New York City based biomechanical consulting firm, recently had co-leading roles in the Off Off Broadway productions of The Iceman Cometh and The Arms & The Man at The Producers Club In New York City. He also recently produced Uncle Vanya, and is currently producing the theatrical adaptation of The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, both at The Producers Club. (7/20/2012)

Natalie Sedaghati, a founding partner of the personal injury firm, Ogen & Sedaghati PC, was one of only nine female attorneys selected as a 2012 “New York Super Lawyer” in the practice area of personal injury. Sedaghati was also selected to be in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members of this forum, which is limited to attorneys who have won multi-million dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. (7/20/2012)

Richard J. Sobelsohn, Director of Content and Product Initiatives in the Real Estate Division of LexisNexis, recently published two articles: “Are You Being Greenwashed?” in the New York Bar Association Journal (June 2012) and “‘Greenwashing’: Deceptive Business Claims of ‘Eco-Friendliness,’” on Forbes.com (March 2012). Sobelsohn is also a member of the adjunct faculty at Brooklyn Law School. (7/20/2012)
