Peter J. Hogan, former chairman of a trucking business in Savannah, GA, was featured in an article in Savannahnow.com in August 2012 about his ties to Ireland. Born in Ireland, he has strong ties to the country and set up a charitable trust to give college scholarships to high school seniors in both Savannah and Limerick. He also donated property for a park and soccer field to be created in Limerick, which was later named after him. In June 2012, a bronze bust of Hogan was erected outside King John’s Castle near the statue he had paid to have erected of his fourth cousin, poet Michael Hogan, the Bard of Thomond. (8/14/2012)

Richard S. Solove joined the Lancaster, PA firm of Woolford Law PC as of counsel. Solove counsels businesses in various areas including entity formation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, acquisitions, and real estate matters. He was previously attorney-in-charge of the Lancaster, PA office of McNees Wallace & Nurick. (3/6/2013)

Ira B. Warshawsky, formerly a NYS Supreme Court justice in the Commercial Division, joined the Garden City, NY firm of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein, P.C. as of counsel in its Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Warshawsky represents clients in commercial litigation and he is also a mediator, arbitrator, litigator, and private judge and referee in the areas of business disputes and electronic discovery. He is the immediate past president and a charter member of the American College of Business Court Judges. (3/2/2012)
