Emily J. Goodman stepped down as a justice of the NYS Supreme Court and formed her own private practice, after nearly 30 years of service. She also recently served as co-chair of the Letitia James Public Advocate Transition Team. (3/28/2014)

Alan E. Weiner, founding tax partner and current partner emeritus of the accounting firm Holtz Rubenstein Reminick LLP, was appointed to a fifth term, for the 2013-2014 period, as a judge on the New York State Society of Public Accountants’ Excellence in Financial Journalism Awards Committee. The annual award recognizes reporters from the national and local press who contribute to a better understanding of business topics. (3/6/2013)
