David E. Leach '76 was appointed Regional Attorney of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) Office in New York. He will handle unfair labor practice cases in Manhattan, the Bronx, and several counties north of New York City. Faisal Khan '01 was appointed Chicago's first legislative inspector general. The newly created position will have the authority to investigate Chicago's city council members and their staff. Peter A. Antonucci '90 was presented with the 2011 annual Law and Public Service Committee Honor Roll Award by the American Bar Association's Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. Antonucci, a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig LLP, was recognized for representing the families of dozens of firefighters who were killed during the September 11 attacks and for his work as a director on the board of the Alzheimer's Association. The award is presented annually to an outstanding Assistant U.S. Attorney from the U.S. Attorney's Offices in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York who exemplify integrity, fair play, and commitment to the public good.
