We encourage you to take advantage of the many benefits of being a member of the Brooklyn Law School Alumni Association. Current Association members are entitled to use of the law school library, participation in special Alumni Association events, discounts with several retailers, and significant discounts on CLE credits at Brooklyn Law School sponsored conferences.
Access to the Law School Library
Association members have unlimited access to the library’s print resources and limited access to certain digital resources for research purposes while in the library. Books cannot be checked out. While in the library, members also have access to LexisNexis Academic, a limited version of Lexis. It contains Federal and State Case Law, and Statutory and Regulatory databases. It also has a limited run of law reviews and features the Shepards citing service. Please see Reference Desk for password to access. Members are asked to bring their own laptops for use in library and can access the internet with an Ethernet cord, or wirelessly with a guest username and password obtained from the Reference Desk.
Discounted CLE Credits
Association members pay discounted rates for CLE credits at BLS sponsored programs. CLE Credits are $10/credit for members, which is an 80% discount on the regular cost of $50/credit. Visit the calendar of events for upcoming programs.
10% Discount at the BLS Bookstore
Association members receive a 10% discount on purchases at the BLS Bookstore when they present their alumni card.
3 Months of Bloomberg Law Service
In conjunction with Bloomberg L.P., the Association offers qualified members a free three-month subscription to Bloomberg Law.
