The Brooklyn Law School Alumni Mentor Program, which celebrated its 19th anniversary this year, pairs alumni with students who are particularly interested in their mentors' field of practice, offering an invaluable opporunity to complement and enhance the students' law school experience.
This year the program matched over 100 students with lawyers practicing in a broad range of areas including antitrust, bankrupcty, corporate, entertainment, immigration, intellectual property, litigation, taxation, human rights, real estate, family law, criminal prosecution and criminal defense. Alumni participants not only offer their mentees career advice on a variety of topics but also include them at various work related activities and local networking events for the bar.
In October, mentors were introduced to their mentees at a reception hosted by Michael Grohman '83 and Fred Cohen '67 at the offices of Duane Morris LLP. View photos from the Mentor Reception.
