Race Judicata is a 5K Charity Event in memory of Professor Barry Zaretsky.

All proceeds from the race go to the Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice, a high school located in Downtown Brooklyn that focuses on teaching students about legal studies and debate. For more information on the school, please visit their webiste at www.sljhs.org.

For runners, the cost is $20 for students (and juniors 18 or younger), and $35 for regular particpants.

For sponsors, the cost is $1000 for Platinum Sponsorship (including a premier logo on the back of the t-shirts and an unlimited number of runners for your team), $600 for Gold Sponsorship (including a logo filling a half-line on the back of the t-shirts), $300 for a Silver Sponsorship (including a logo filling a quarter-line on the back of the t-shirts), and $150 for Bronze Sponsorship (including plain text logo on the back of the t-shirts).

All race participants will receive a backpack filled with goodies from our sponsors, as well as the 2013 Race Judicata T-Shirt.

Race Judicata is held at Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The start of this year's race is at Bartel Lot / Park drives. Please enter at Prospect Park West and 16th Street. See map.

Registration / Sign-in begins at 10:00 am on April 20th. If you have not yet registered, you may do so at this time. If you have registered, then you will be given your timer when you sign in for the race. Please note, all students must bring their student ID to ensure that proper payment has been made.

The race itself begins at 11:00 am.

After the race, runners can collect their t-shirts. Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners to finish in the race, and to all Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Sponsors. Refreshments will be served.
