How the Tracking System Works | How to Login
Thank you for applying to Brooklyn Law School! To help you track the progress of your application, we have created this password-protected Admission Documents Tracking System.
Because of the high volume of applications, phone calls and emails our office receives, the fastest way to check on your application will be the Admission Documents Tracking System.
How the Admission Documents Tracking System Works
The Admission Documents Tracking System is designed to tell you which application documents have been received and which documents are still needed. Once you have properly logged into the Tracking System (discussed below), a screen will appear with five columns: Description, Status, Status Date, Due Date and Requesting Office. At this point in the application process, you only need to be concerned with the first three columns: Description, Status and Status Date.
| Description: |
Displays all required documents necessary to complete an application. It mirrors our Application Checklist. |
| Status/Status Date: |
Displays whether the documents have been received (if yes, it will include the date); are not required; or are still needed. |
When all required documents have been received, the system will indicate this in the Status column. The system will not, however, report a decision on your application; such notifications are sent by the Office of Admissions in writing via e-mail and postal mail.
Note: The Admissions Committee will only review an application once it is complete. An application is considered complete when all required documents, including the candidate’s Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) Report, Application Fee, Dean’s Certification Form, and two Faculty Evaluations and, for candidates applying online, an Application Certification have been received and processed by the School’s Office of Admission.
Additionally, please keep in mind, that although the Admission Documents Tracking System may indicate that all required documents have been received, there are cases in which, upon later review of the file, it is determined by the Admissions Committee that more material is required.
