Full-Time and Part-Time Divisions
Students interested in attending Brooklyn Law School as matriculated students may apply for either the full-time division or part-time division.

The full-time Juris Doctor degree program requires three years of full-time attendance and is available only to those students who will devote substantially all their working time to the study of law. The standard part-time program requires four years of study. Evening classes are typically conducted Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Division Transfers
Brooklyn Law School permits its students to transfer from the part-time division to the full-time division (and vice versa) upon written application to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Students who wish to consider transfer between divisions should refer to the Brooklyn Law School Student Handbook for detailed information about timing, eligiblity criteria, residency and credit requirements, tuition obligations and employment limitations. The Student Handbook is available online. Approval of a divison transfer is neither automatic nor guaranteed.
