Topics specifically covered include authorship; copyright subject matter; the concepts of publication, notice, and registration; copyright infringement; remedies; ownership; transfer of interests; the interface between copyright and state laws; computers; fair use; and compulsory licenses.

Letter grade with pass/fail option. Final exam.
