Prerequisite: Trademark and Unfair Competition

The theme of this course is trademark litigation, and the course will focus on the types of both doctrinal and practice issues that this area of intellectual property law raises. The course will emphasize recent cases and topics in trademark law such as the impact of the internet on trademark law,trade dress/product configuration and rights of privacy/publicity and trademark law. The grade in this course will be based on a final exam.
