This course provides an in-depth examination of the practices of federal courts for students who will be doing post-graduate judicial clerkships. In addition to substantive issues, the course examines key aspects of the functions law clerks perform in chambers.
Grading and Method of EvaluationPass/fail only. Regular writing assignments introduce students to the tasks they will undertake during their clerkship year. No exam. Enrollment by permission of the instructor.
