All clinic application materials for in-house clinics and the Criminal Practice Externship are available online and in the Clinic Office at One Boerum Place, 3rd Floor. Detailed instructions about clinics and application procedures can be found in the Clinical Education Guide.
Students who have arranged their own placement in a Criminal Practice Program should complete the appropriate Enrollment Form and read the Criminal Practice Program Student Manual for important information about application, approval, supervision and other externship issues. Submit completed forms to Professor Lisa Smith in the Clinic Office at One Boerum Place.
Civil Practice and Judicial Clerkship placements are obtained through the Career Center. Please see the Civil Practice and Judicial Clerkship Information Sheet (PDF) for details.
If you have found your own Civil Practice or Judicial Clerkship placement, you should download and submit the appropriate Enrollment Form to the Career Center as soon as possible. The Career Center will forward all approved Enrollment Forms to the Clinic Office. The Clinic Office will then register you for the course and assign you to a seminar.
To download and print the online (PDF) versions of our clinic materials, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader
(download free software).
