Note: It is the policy of the Law School to respect observances of major religious holidays. Officers of administration and of instruction, responsible for the scheduling of required academic activities or essential services, are expected to avoid conflict with such holidays as much as possible. These activities include examinations, registration and various deadlines that are a part of the academic calendar. Where scheduling conflicts prove unavoidable, no student will be penalized for absence due to religious reasons, and alternative means will be sought for satisfying the academic requirements involved. If a suitable arrangement cannot be worked out between the student and the instructor involved, the student and instructor should consult the Dean's Office.
