Our Commitment to Your Passion

The Law School’s Public Service Office provides individual counseling and information on summer and academic year externships, steering students towards pro bono opportunities, enabling community service, and helping students apply for postgraduate fellowships and employment opportunities.

The Office also offers a range of important skill-building resources and coordinates a full calendar of events and programs to introduce students to the various practice areas and employers in the field. A biweekly Public Service Office newsletter keeps students abreast public service news, events & programming and career opportunities as they arise.

Danielle Sorken, Director of the Public Service Office, spearheads the Law School’s efforts to assist students interested in a career in public interest or government service. She develops programmatic events and offers counseling to students applying for internships and/or jobs. Her extensive connections and experience have established the Public Service Office as a vital student resource.
