James Park’s teaching and research interests include securities regulation, corporations, and civil procedure. His forthcoming article
Securities Class Actions and Bankrupt Companies, will be published this year by the
Michigan Law Review. His recent works have appeared in the
California Law Review, Duke Law Journal, and others. He is affiliated with the
Center for the Study of Business Law & Regulation and with the
Dennis J. Block Center for the Study of International Business Law.
Prior to joining the faculty, he was an Assistant Attorney General in the Investment Protection Bureau of the New York State Attorney General's Office and a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York. After law school, he clerked for Judge Robert A. Katzmann of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and for Judge John G. Koeltl of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
