To experience the look and feel of an actual law school class in progress, you are welcome to sit in on one or more classes at Brooklyn Law School. All classes are held in the Main Building, at 250 Joralemon Street. In planning such an activity, keep in mind that the first day of spring semester classes is January 9, the last day of spring semester classes is April 25, and that the spring reading and examination periods extend through May 11. It is generally not advisable to attend a class during the final week of a semester. On the day of your visit, try to arrive at the classroom a few minutes before the scheduled start time, to introduce yourself to the professor and explain why you are there. Please do not enter a classroom after class has begun or exit a classroom while the class is still in session.
Before going to the classroom, you will need to go to the Admissions Office to pick up a visitor's pass and a schedule of classes that can be visited. View the
spring 2012 class schedule. If you would like to schedule a classroom visit in advance, please call the Admissions Office at (718) 780-7906 or e-mail
visit2@brooklaw.edu , several days prior to the date you plan to attend. If you will be attending a 9:00 a.m. class, we can usually arrange for a visitor's pass and class schedule to be left for you at the security desk in the Main Building, at 250 Joralemon, where classes are held.
