A study which used the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings of publicly traded companies to determine which 25 law schools have the highest percentage of alumni serving as corporate directors or executive officers included Brooklyn Law School, noting BLS performed better on the corporate boardroom analysis than the U.S. News rankings would indicate. BLS is Included in Above the Law’s Top Five Overlooked Law Schools
Above the Law’s 2012 Insider Survey invited students and alumni to rate their schools based on academics, social life, clinical training, career services, and financial aid advising. The survey received close to 10,000 responses. Above the Law reported that there was not a correlation between prestige and insider rating.
