Brooklyn Law School’s LL.M. program for foreign-trained lawyers helps graduates to become more effective and confident transnational lawyers. The LL.M. program facilitates study of United States law and legal practice, trains foreign-educated lawyers to use legal English in U.S. legal practice, and offers specialized preparation for students who wish to take the New York State bar exam.

The Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Law Fellowship Program offers highly qualified students unique opportunities to explore the practice of public interest law. The Barry L. Zaretsky Fellowships are awarded to high-achieving students with a serious interest in bankruptcy and commercial law. The Fellows work with faculty members and graduates on scholarly and community activities in honor of the late Professor Zaretsky, including an annual Roundtable, which brings together distinguished practitioners, judges, and academics to discuss cutting-edge topics in commercial and bankruptcy law.
